Happy 4 Months Blair!

Blair is already 4 months old and I cannot believe it. She just melts my heart each time she smiles which is fairly often these days. If you give her a smile, she will usually give one back to you! She has become quite a content little girl and only really cries when she is tired or hungry. She loves watching Halle and I think she is going to be pretty social since she just loves being in the middle of all of the action. It is so cute to see her personality coming out and she has the cutest giggle too! We love you Blair!

At 4 Months Blair...

• Weighs 13 lbs. exactly and is 24 in. tall
• Loves sucking on her hands and drools quite a bit
• Really doesn't like tummy time so she is in her bumbo quite a bit which she seems to like 
• Rolled over for the first time just two days after turning 4 months!
• Is very strong when she is on her tummy and "standing"
• Has a cute, deep "talk"
• Loves watching Halle
• Smiles a ton and really only cries when she is tired and hungry
• Has the cutest laugh - her first laugh was on February 26th
• Usually takes a good morning nap and a good midday nap but is hard to get to take a nap past 3pm and thus, is tired by 6-7pm
• Goes down to bed around 7-8pm and usually wakes up 1-2 times but never at the same time. Has slept through the night a few times but it is definitely not consistent.
• Naps only in her swing or car seat - can't get her to nap in her crib yet
• Eats every 2-3 hours during the day and we are still on the eat, awake, sleep schedule - she usually gets tired an hour after she eats
• Wears size 2 diapers and just started wearing 3-6 month clothes - I think she just went through a growth spurt this past week
• Is much more content in the bath even without the swaddle but still doesn't love them, especially when she gets out
• Loves being on her changing table and having her diaper changed - she always smiles at you
• Still won't take a pacifier or bottle - in fact, I tried to give her a sippy cup a few days ago and she laughed when I gave it to her!
• Still has blue eyes - I can't remember when Halle's changed to hazel but I wonder if Blair's will stay blue?!?
  

Things we love about this stage:

• Her smile and little giggle
• How she talks and looks at Halle whenever she is in the room
• Her cute personality and the way she smiles so often
