Brandon decided to take the Monday and Tuesday following his birthday (August 19-20) off so we thought it would be fun to go to Disney. We left when he got done playing golf on the 18th and stayed overnight at the Buena Vista Suites. We got going fairly early the next morning but by the time we parked and took the tram and the monorail, it was already around 9:30/10 when we got into the park. We were so surprised by how crowded it was for a Monday and Tuesday since it was still really hot too. But, we had a ton of fun and the girls seemed to enjoy it. Halle's favorite things were seeing Mickey, the Princesses, the Electrical Parade and going on the tea cups. She probably went on the tea cups close to 5 times! Blair loved the Small World ride and was a trooper to stay up so late to see the parade. We went back on Tuesday and stayed until nap time and then drove back to Jacksonville. We didn't see everything but knew that we would be coming back with our parents so we took our time. It was fun for us just to see Halle and Blair get excited about things!
Our first ride - the tram from our car!
Blair loved looking at everything on "It's a Small World"
Halle on the tea cups
Halle couldn't wait to see Mickey - Blair could!
"Driving" the cars!
Seeing the princesses - Cinderella was her favorite
Halle took a picture of every float with her pretend camera!
Small world again! The girls loved it and it was a nice break from the heat!

A magical day: princesses, Cinderella, four Goofies and a real Mickey.
