I cannot believe Blair is just a month shy of turning one! She still looks like a baby to me but she has changed so much in the past month...she claps, waves, learned how to stand up and start cruising, says "da" for Dolly and Dada, and is babbling all of the time. Blair is very social and loves being out seeing people! She has such a fun personality and her smile gets us every time. We love you so much Blair!
Blair at 11 Months:
- Learned how to pull up to standing (first time in crib on Oct. 19th) and start cruising
- Is very cautious when she goes from standing up to sitting down
- Doesn't eat any baby food and only wants starches! Just the opposite of Halle! She loves pancakes for breakfast, waffles, Cheerios, veggie straws, puffs, cheese, pb&j, anything starchy like pizza and I can sometimes get her to eat peas, grapes and bananas
- We think she will be left handed based on how much and how good she is at using that hand to feed herself
- Says "Da" for Dolly and Dada and a lot of other things too
- I think she claps for signing more and seems to try to do the sign for "All done" - if not, she throws her food on the ground which also means all done!
- When I try to get her to say Mama she says Nana
- Her dolly has defenitely become her little lovey - she cuddles with it all of the time and now naps with it
- Has 2 bottom teeth
- Still wears size 6-12 month clothes, size 3 diapers, size 2/3 shoes
- Weighs 17 lbs and 15 oz and is 29 inches long (the weight is the exact same as Halle's at this age!)
- Waved goodnight for the first time on Oct. 13th and now waves hi and bye too
- Doesn't really like to sit long enough to read books but does seem to like a little of "Barnyard Dance" and the cloth "Pat the Bunny" book
- Claps and dances anytime she hears music
- Will start crying if we won't give her something that she wants to play with
- Loves baths and will follow us into the bathroom and try to get into the tub while we start the water
- Loves to pull out all of our night lights and seems to know when she isn't supposed to touch something because she does it and then looks at us and smiles!
- Likes to play with clothes and anything soft for that matter - she gets a piece of clothing in each hand and then spins around in circles on her bottom while babbling - she will also lay down on her tummy on anything soft - her dolly, the carpet, clothes, our bed, her lamb play mat, etc.
- Loves the swing at the park
- Started cuddling this month before going to sleep at night
- She normally just wants to be playing on the ground but will let you hold her right after waking up from her nap
- Hasn't gone through separation anxiety yet and has been great about going to the church nursery
- Schedule: Just started to sleep through the night pretty consistently - is usually going to bed around 7:30-8:30 and waking up anywhere between 5:30-7...she generally takes a morning nap around 10 and an afternoon nap at 2 and both are around 1-2 hrs.
In the hotel on our way back from our summer rotation in Jacksonville
Both girls thought it was Christmas when we got back home after being gone for 3 months
Blair loves exploring and pulling everything out
Playing at the playground
Watching a show in Halle's bed
She loves to swing
Her first time throwing a fit when I wouldn't give her the monitor to play with - she seems to know that the monitor has something to do with Halle
Is cuddly for about 5-10 minutes after she wakes up
Loves any stuffed animals and buries her face in them
Playing peek a boo in the curtains
Standing for the first time at the gate
Her best friend - Bennett
LOVES her Dolly!
Loves playing with clothes

Such a wonderful child. Who could ask for anything more than the blessing of your two sweet girls?
She's so cute! When did these babies get so old?! Miss you all!
