Halle's Birthday Party!

It has taken me forever to get this post up mainly because I had about 500 pictures to choose from! Because of that...this post is very picture-heavy so beware...

We celebrated Halle's birthday on June 18th since both of our families were in town. We had a casual barbecue and it was so great to spend time with family and close friends. We were so blessed to have both of our families here to share this special day with us.

I had so much fun planning her birthday and got the color inspiration from her dress which I had bought at the end of last summer! Brandon kept reminding me that Halle wouldn't have any idea whether she had any decorations at all but I still wanted to create something special for her and these pictures will definitely be going in her baby book so she will know later on!

It was nice out at the beginning of the party but we could tell it was about to storm so Brandon quickly grilled all of the food so that he wouldn't get stuck in the rain!

Not sure what to think of it on her hands...She only put her hands it in so I helped her take a bite...She seemed to like being fed the cake!But, once she smeared the cake that was on her hands all over her body, I think she had had enough!Time for a bath!All cleaned and doing much better in Papa's arms!Present time! She was kind of fussy the whole night and didn't show much interest in opening her gifts so Brandon gladly helped!Thanks for the doctors kit Annabelle!Halle with cousin Kenzie - thanks for the birthday cake Kenzie!Yay for Auntie Nay Nay being able to come to the party all the way from San Francisco!
