I can't believe that a year ago yesterday (July 3, 2010), we had just taken Halle home from the hospital. On July 4th, we put a festive bow in her hair and then watched the fireworks from our car just a minute from our house while Halle slept in her car seat!

Happy 4th of July!
What a difference a year makes! We are now doing things for the second time around which seems so strange. She is growing up way too quickly!
She took one step yesterday and one step today so we think she may be walking somewhat soon!
The weather has been gorgeous this holiday weekend and Brandon had today and yesterday off so we took advantage and bought a bike trailer as my mother's day gift (good things come to those who wait!) so that we could go on a family bike ride - we bought it and took it straight home for a ride and Halle loved it!
Tonight, we went to a party at a friends house and left a little before the fireworks started since Halle was sleepy... but we saw the most beautiful sunset on our way home which if you look closely had diagonal lines of blue in it
We were able to see the fireworks from our house which was nice so that Halle could go to bed! Hope everyone had a good holiday weekend!
