Happy 5 Months Blair!

If I had to describe Blair right now it would be super smiley and not a sleeper!! The past two days she has barely napped. In fact, Halle is taking longer naps than her and sleeping more at night. But, I feel bad since Blair has a cold and I think that is why she isn't wanting to sleep. Given that I don't think she feels all that well, she is still pretty content and will still smile whenever you smile at her. She is a happy baby that just doesn't want to miss out on any of the action! And, that smile of hers just melts our hearts! We love you baby Blair!

At 5 Months Blair...

Weighs 15-16 lbs according to our scale (though I'm not sure that is right because she was just 13 lbs. last month!)
Always smiles when you smile at her and has the cutest laugh
Still LOVES to be on her changing table - that is where she smiles and laughs the most!
Likes to take her naps only in her swing or car seat but we are working on getting her to nap in her crib (though it only works right now if she is fed to sleep and then placed in her crib)
Is hard to get to sleep when there are people around - i.e. on the airplane when we went to Florida this past month!
Isn't on any sort of schedule during the day...yesterday she took 2, 30 min. naps and that was it and the day before that she took naps 1 hr 15 min after eating and for at least an hour each time! Our trip to Florida from April 16-21 really messed her up so we are going to start working on a schedule this month...though it's hard to do since she also has a cold right now
Before we left for FL, she was waking up once a night, usually anywhere from 2-5am, but last night she woke up at 11pm! I'm hoping she will start sleeping through the night once she is over her cold
Is starting to grab at anything that she can get her hands on but hasn't quite figured out how to put things in her mouth once she has them in her hands
"Talks" a lot and makes squealing noises
Tried rice cereal for the first time on April 22nd and though she didn't seem to care for it all that much she didn't make too much of a mess and did successfully eat a little...
Wears size 2 diapers, and 3-6 month clothes, though some 0-3 month clothes still fit - we think that she will be tall and skinny just like Halle
Sits in her bumbo most of the time when she is awake unless she is in our arms and doesn't seem to mind. She also likes playing in the bouncer and touching the little toys on it.
Tried the jumperoo for the first time this past month but doesn't love it yet
Is loving playing under her play gym and touching all of the toys that hang down - she kicks like crazy when she does this (see video below)
Can roll from her tummy to her back but not the other way around (did this for the first time on March 26th) - she doesn't like to be on her tummy at all - I think it doesn't feel good on her stomach since sometimes she spits up after tummy time
Still eats every 2-3 hours during the day and still doesn't take a bottle
Still has pretty blue eyes and brown hair
Still wears a lot of sleepers since it just warmed up this Spring two days ago! Hence, I thought it would be fitting for her to wear a sleeper in this month's picture
