Easter Festivities

Halle loved everything about Easter this year, including the Easter egg hunts that were done in the cold and rain! We practiced a little bit at home (more like it was one more thing to keep us occupied inside during this LONG winter!). So, unlike last year, she knew what to do. We went to one Easter egg hunt on the morning of March 30th and because there was either still snow on the grass or it was super soggy, the hunt was held in a parking lot. Brandon didn't get off in time to make it so I took Halle real quick and after she got her 20 eggs, we left. She had fun picking up the eggs though!

An hour later once Brandon was off, we decided to go to another hunt so that Brandon could watch Halle. Unfortunately, it had started raining by then but we asked Halle if she still wanted to do it and she said yes. So, her and Brandon stood in the rain until the hunt (also in a parking lot!) started. She was much quicker with picking up the eggs and did a great job. I stayed nice and warm in the car while Blair slept!

A few weekends later we had our own Easter Egg hunt for Halle once the weather was nicer. She had so much fun with it!

Halle also helped me this year make some Easter nest cookies. She did a great job helping me make the cookies and placing candy in the nests! She is at such a fun age!

She was so patient to wait in the rain until the hunt started

She's a good helper in the kitchen!
