Blair - 9 Months!

Blair turned 9 months old this past month and I can't believe how much she is changing. She is sitting really well now, got her first tooth and is always making some sort of noise. She is still such a smiley baby who loves being around lots of people, but especially her big sister. The two of them are starting to interact more and it is so fun to see. Blair you bring us such joy!!

Blair at 9 Months:

• Weighs somewhere between 17-18 lbs. since we put her on the scale when we visited Brandon at work one day!
• Is very vocal about what she wants and doesn't want
• Is not really liking any baby food except for peas, yogurt, some foods with banana in them and oatmeal and will push your hand away when you try to feed other kinds of baby food to her
• Will still not eat food by herself - wants me to do it with my fingers! Likes grapes, blueberries, mandarin oranges, bananas, bread, puffs and anything else that is soft enough for her to chew on
• Loves watching Baby Einstein and smiles at the puppets when they appear
• Went from sitting to her tummy for the first time on August 6th
• Can sit all by herself now but is not just content to sit without having toys around
• Is not crawling but will sometimes roll around - when she rolls to one side she puts her arm down first which looks really funny! (see video below)
• Loves anything that isn't a toy or something that she hasn't seen before and she likes to clap things together to make noise
• Can sometimes clap when you ask her to
• Says ma, da, ga and some other noises too
• Squeals really loud (loud enough for a whole restaurant to look at you!), especially when you take something from her - we think she will be able to hold her own with Halle!
• Got her first tooth a few days before she turned 9 months 
• Is super flexible and loves having her legs straight out to her sides and still loves to play with her feet - in fact, she likes to pull the canopy on her car seat down to use it as a foot rest instead!
• Likes to play with empty plastic water bottles and any stuffed animals - likes to burry her face in them!
• Wears 6-9 or 6-12 month clothes,  size 3 diapers and she still has never worn shoes!
• Is very social - loves when there are other kids around or a lot of people - which means she doesn't do great in her car seat since she gets bored!
• Will cry when either me or Brandon leaves the room
• Schedule: Goes to bed around 8 pm and will wake up anywhere from 5:45-7 and usually takes a shorter nap in the morning and an afternoon nap around 2pm
