Brandon took me to Sea World with the kids as my birthday present and it was a lot of fun! I didn't really have any expectations of how the day would go since it was hot and Halle had just gotten sick the day before we left, but it went so well. The shows there are great and the crowds weren't terrible. We went in the morning, left for naps in the afternoon while it rained, ate dinner (Giordano's Chicago Pizza!) before we went back and then since it had been raining, the park was really cleared out that evening and it was gorgeous. Halle loved seeing the dolphins and our favorite show was probably the Blue Horizons show with the dolphins in it. We also enjoyed seeing One Ocean with the whales.
We went back to the park on Sunday before heading home during nap time. We waited awhile in line for the new Antartica Penguin ride and right when Brandon and Halle got on, it stopped working. We had spent most the morning waiting for the ride so that was a bummer but they did give us passes to come back to the front once it started working. So, we ate lunch, saw a really cute Pet Show that even Blair liked and then did the penguin ride. Halle got to do it twice so that Brandon and I could both go. It was a great weekend getaway...thanks Brandon!
Flamingos
Seeing the dolphins during a feeding
This little one was a trooper and only napped for about 30 min while nursing during lunch! She loved seeing everyone around her at the park!
Halle fell asleep in the stroller on our way out of the park in the afternoon - poor girl had a fever the day before we left and was tired!
In the aquarium while Brandon rode the Manta roller coaster
The picture they took of themselves while stuck on the penguin ride
It was 32 degrees in the area where they keep the penguins so we felt right at home being from MN!
The Pets Ahoy show was a hit with the kids
Halle asleep on the way home to Jacksonville - a sure sign of a great trip!

A wonderful way to celebrate.
Looks like a blast! We want to do SeaWorld next time we're down there!
