Brandon left this morning to go to Salt Lake City, Utah for the whole month of September. He arrives this afternoon and our friends, Missie and Matt, from high school will be picking him up. They just moved there a couple of months ago since Missie is going to school out there. They will all watch the Oregon football game this afternoon which Brandon will love!
I drove him to the airport around 8am and had a little bit of a hard time saying goodbye. This is by far the longest we will have been apart since getting married. I am going to visit him in a couple of weeks which makes things easier. It also is nice that his sister, Joy, is coming to visit today. I am going to leave around 1pm to drive up to the Cities to pick her up and then we are going to spend some time looking around Minneapolis. The weather is beautiful today...it is in the low 80's, sunny and no humidity!
My sister is also coming to visit the day Joy leaves so that will be really nice. I am looking forward to having her here since this will be her first visit. So, I will have company the whole first week of Sept. and then I have planned many things to occupy my time while Brandon is gone. I will be co-hosting a baby shower and also having a Lia Sophia Jewelry party at our place along with the normal weekly things that start up this month. I had created the calendar below awhile back and now I have a couple of other things planned as well so I think I will be fine during the day, but night time may be hard... Well, I better go get ready. I spent the whole morning cleaning once I got back from the airport so that our apartment is ready for company...yay!

don't worry, kristen! you will make it, although i know it will be hard w/o brandon. you always have so much going on, though-- vball, bunko, making cakes, etc. that i'm sure the time will fly! that's great you get to visit salt lake city!
Kristen - We are just across the street for the whole month, and ready to hang out!
I'm sure Rachel will want to go on plenty of walks.

I'm sorry that I will see your husband more than you will this month . . . but I'm even more excited to have you come out, too! It is really nice to have some company. It rained a lot on us yesterday, so just make sure that you pack a little of everything when you visit.
I'll be thinking of you this month Kristen! I wish I could come out to visit you this month, but I may be moving back to Oregon soon so I could see you whenever you come home!
