Grandma Lil

I went home a couple of weekends ago for the memorial service of my Grandma Lil. She was a week away from being 90 years old! Even though it was not a good reason to come home, it was great to be able to spend time with family. Here is the latest photo taken of my Grandma during Christmas. I have been told all of my life that I look like her so I guess this is what I may look like when I get to be that age! She was beautiful lady who loved cooking, baking and playing cards with her friends and family.

After getting in late on Thursday night, my sister surprised me with the cutest girl clothes from Gymboree and my mom surprised me with a cute baby book. I think we are all looking pretty good considering it was close to 2am (4am my time)! Aren't the clothes adorable?!? The outfit my sister is holding is actually a hoodie with a penguin on the hood which I love!We didn't do a whole lot over the weekend but it was nice to just spend time with family.

Mom, Me, Grandma, Kyle and ReneeWe don't get to see our cousins, Jeff and Greg, and their families very often so it was so much fun to see them.Mom, Renee, Jeni and SkylerJeff's adorable family - Keegan, Jeni, Skyler and JeffMy mom with her two nephews - Jeff and GregIt was fun to go mini golfing with al of them!

Part of the weekend was spent doing some baby shopping. My family wanted to see some things I had picked out at Babies R Us. Apparently, they all think we need to buy a rocker!

So sorry to hear about your grandma but I'm happy you had a nice time at home. I cracked up when I saw that your brother had his iPod on in the store :)

Great photos, Kristen. I'm glad you had some fun family time, despite the circumstances. And...Kaia definitely has that green turtle outfit from Gymboree. She hasn't worn it yet, but we need a photo of the girls in their matching outfits sometime! :-)

Great to see you tonight...it was so much fun!
