on a name for our little girl. I never thought it would be possible and always thought that our baby wouldn't have a name when we left the hospital. But, after much discussion with Brandon about how important a name is, and how much we want her name to symbolize more than just what she is called, we have made up our mind. Since we are both from Eugene and it is such an important place to our family we wanted to incorporate that into her name. And, since I think that the father is the head of the household, I wanted to name our children in some way after him to give them strength and grounding (which he agreed with!). We went through a lot of options before really falling in love with the name Brandi Eugenia.
By the way, it really came down to two names.... Brandi Eugenia and April Fools :)
After being fooled by Allison, we thought that I should come up with my own April Fools joke...If anyone knows me at all, they know that I wouldn't let Brandon name our little girl Brandi! (Even though he has said that as an option many times..) And, Eugenia....why on earth would I want to name our girl after the hippie town of Eugene?!?

This post actually hurt my feelings because I was set on, if we ever had a girl, giving her the first name Eugenia. I found this a bit insulting to hear you make fun of it.
Okay. Just kidding. April Fools back. It would be a pretty awful name. ha!
