Happy 4 Months Halle!

Happy 4 Month Birthday Halle! Poor little Halle has a cold though on her birthday and is not feeling the best but she is still a pretty content baby even for being sick. When she had her 4 month check-up this past Thursday, she had a fever so they didn't end up giving her the vaccinations. Both Brandon and I have had colds so I think she must have caught her first one from one of us... She is still getting lots of sleep though so hopefully it doesn't last long.

Both Brandon and I agree that we wish she would just stay this age forever. She is such a happy baby and we just love her so much! She is sleeping through the night (anywhere from 10-14 hours!) and then still takes multiple naps throughout the day and when she is awake she is just so happy and content so she is an easy baby to take care of (which also may be part of the reason why we want her to stay this age! ;)

At 4 Months Halle...

• Weighs 12 pounds, 10 oz and is 24.2 inches long (over 2 feet!)
• Drools a ton (though we don't think she is teething yet)
  
• Loves sucking on her hands (especially her thumbs when she finds them) - I was a thumb sucker so I hope she doesn't end up liking them too much though she does put herself back to sleep by sucking on them when she wakes up during the night...
  
• Doesn't really like being on her tummy which makes tummy time somewhat difficult
• Is sitting up fairly well in her bumbo
  
• Is talking more
  
• Took her first plane ride
  
• Starting giggling for the first time when we went home to Oregon (see video below)
  
• Holds her own hands a lot, especially when eating
• Goes anywhere from 10-14 hours at night which is super nice and she doesn't even fuss when we put her down in the pack-n-play (which is still in our room...)
  
• Still eats every 2-3.5 hours during the day since she goes so long at night without eating
  
• Is getting better at standing when held
• Has such a good disposition and is very laid back - she did great when she had Brandon's parents and my parents watch her while we went to a rehearsal dinner and wedding
  
• Wears size 1 diapers and 0-3 month clothing for the most part but some 3-6 month clothes are starting to fit
  
• Is starting to like her swing which she hasn't really liked up to this point
• Still loves her bouncer and her changing table
• Likes watching football with her daddy (and anything else on tv!)
  
• Got her first cold

1, 2 & 3 Months:

4 Months:Go Ducks! I wanted to remember that the Ducks are ranked #1 so I put her in this outfit, that we got this past weekend at home, for her 4 month picture!
