Happy 7 Months Blair!

Happy 7 Months Blair! I'm writing this post a little late since we drove to FL and have been pretty busy and you have changed so much in the past week that it's hard to remember what you were doing just a few weeks ago! You are still such a smiley baby who loves watching Halle wherever she is. You are pretty content when you are awake as long as people are around and if you get tired, you like being held out so you can see things. We think that you will be very social since you love when others are around. We love you so much Blair!

At 7 Months Blair:

• Sometimes cries when I leave the room - she really studies people and realizes if I'm not holding her 
• Is getting better everyday at sitting but still topples over every once in awhile (especially when grabbing for toys) - still sits with boppy behind her
• Does not like the car wash or loud noises when I'm not holding her (including the vacuum!)
• Loves grabbing her feet and putting her hands together
• Does a high pitch squeal now which is really loud..it always takes us by surprise
• Growls and talks loudly
• Grabs at anything and everything though she doesn't put much in her mouth - is really good at grabbing and can even palm a small ball
• Likes watching the tv, ipad and Halle's video monitor
• Is nursing every 2.5-3.5 hours and eats 1-2 solid foods a day
• Doesn't seem to love eating solids yet (though she will open her mouth for any of our food!) but when we do feed her she much prefers veggies over fruit! Has eaten: squash, sweet potatoes, carrots, peas, green beans, squash, prunes, bananas, pears, apples, peaches 
• Still does not take a bottle or know how to take a sippy cup
• Wears size 3 diapers, size 3-6 month clothes and we still have not put shoes on her yet!
• Does not have any teeth yet and doesn't put anything in her mouth
• Naps in her car seat while we are out and in her swing 
• Just realized that there is a mobile above her swing and likes grabbing at it when she isn't asleep
• Is starting to sleep on her sides instead of back
• Always has her arms straight out at her sides and when she is sleeping on her back she has her arms above her head and always nurses with one hand on my face
• Loves finding tags on things and loves paper
• Is not rolling from back to tummy yet
• Thinks Halle is so funny and LOVES it when Halle plays with her which is happening more these days
• Loves when Halle makes a "qui" sound and always smiles at her when she does it
• Had to cry it out again for her to sleep through the night after she got a cold and had been previously sleeping through the night for 10 days
• She usually goes to bed around 7:30-8:30pm and wakes up anywhere between 5-7am
• Likes her Squishy Turtle book since it makes noise
• Names we call her: Baby Blair, Blair Blair, Little Baby (Halle), Bo Bo (Halle), Grabby Hands
