Since we arrived in Jacksonville on June 30th and Brandon didn't start work until July 3rd and had the 4th of July off, the first week or so really felt like a vacation. We spent our days eating at restaurants that Rochester doesn't have - Chick Fil A, Cracker Barrel, Moe's, etc., went to the Jacksonville Zoo, had a bbq at the pool for the 4th and finally made it to the beach which Halle had been wanting to do ever since we arrived!
It was so much fun to spend all that time with Brandon and do so many things all together. Halle's favorite things at the zoo included seeing and touching the butterflies, feeding a giraffe and going on a carousel. She has also been loving spending so much time with her friends down here - Annabelle, Riley and Bennett. The pool has been wonderful and Halle loves going whenever we can. Blair doesn't seem too impressed with it but does like being around the other kids. And, Halle loved doing fireworks for the first time! The first week started off great!

Our first trip to the beach - we had quite the setup! Halle loved playing in the sand and the ocean and Blair seemed to like the beach too!

Ahhh, brings back great memories! We ate at Cracker Barrel every weekend except 1! Love all the great places to eat. Miss you guys!
Halle, you are such an animal lover. The butterflies and giraffes like how you treat them. It is wonderful that you had some time to enjoy relaxing after the trip.
