Christmas in Oregon Part 1

We got to go to Oregon this year for Christmas. Halle was SO excited and could not wait to see both of our families. She is such a great traveler and basically just sits on her own and plays with the Ipad or watches movies. Blair did okay on the way out...she doesn't sleep on planes even when she gets tired but thankfully we were able to distract her with the DVD player and her favorite movie, The Tuneables.

We got to have lunch right after we arrived with both families and then we headed down to Eugene with Mema and Papa. We spent the first half of the week with them and Joy and Nick's family. It was fun to see the girls get to play with their cousins. I know it will only get more fun as they get older!

Isaac arranged for a photographer to come up to their house the day after we arrived to get some family pictures and Lagaytha made each of the girls beautiful red Christmas dresses for the pictures! Halle still doesn't enjoy pictures being taken of her and that combined with 5 little ones all under 3 made it pretty difficult but the photographer captured some great pictures (which will be posted in another post!). That night we went to dinner with Joy and Nick and their kids. Kenzie and Halle had fun playing together! We also got to see Obaa and Ojii at their new place. Halle colored pictures with the ladies where Obaa is living and did a great job interacting with everyone. Blair also flashed her cute smile and brightened everyones day!

We also got to see Joy and Nick's new house which was going through a remodel while we were there. They had us over for breakfast and to open presents on Christmas Eve. The girls had so much fun playing! That night, we all had dinner at Mema and Papas house along with my family too. Santa even came that night to deliver presents to the girls! Halle was the only one that would sit on his lap and she was SO excited about it. She is at the perfect age for holidays.
