Halle had a preschool Christmas program on Dec. 9th. It was so cute to see all of the kids sing. They had been practicing their songs for awhile and I was able to get Halle to sing me a few verses from some of the songs they sang when I picked her up from preschool each afternoon. When Halle walked in, I tried to get her attention so she would see where we were sitting but she didn't hear me. She walked right up to her spot on stage and then when they turned on the lights, she covered her eyes with both hands! Apparently, they never practiced with the bright lights on! It was pretty cute though and she took her hands down once she got used to the lights and did a great job singing. Afterwards, her school had a little reception in the gym with cheese/crackers and cookies. And, we took Halle out to Culvers for dinner after that. We were very proud of her!
