Blair - 1 Year Old!

Happy 1st Birthday Blair! You are such a fun girl, full of personality and we love you so much!

At 12 months:

• Says "uh oh" and puts her hands on her cheeks, nana for mama, dada, da for dolly and dog, na for no, shakes her head and says uh uh for no or when she doesn't want something - definitely knows what she wants and doesn't want!
• Signs more and all done or just throws all of her food on the ground when she is done
• Likes pulling off her shoes and socks, especially while we are in the car!
• Puts her arms up over her head when you ask her how big she is and likes to cover her face with anything to play peekaboo
• Gets so excited when Brandon comes home
• Loves music and dancing - shakes her little hips and it's so cute!
• Cruises and can stand by herself for a few seconds; does a downward dog and will stand on her head while she is doing it
• Loves to go up stairs but is still learning to go downstairs
• Figured out that if she throws the remote control on the ground enough times the back will pop off and the batteries will fall out so she can put them in her mouth!
• Loves to get into everything - night lights, crawling behind the couch, emptying bookshelves, turning on the tv and pressing all of the buttons on the tv, etc. 
• Smiles and looks at you before doing something she is not supposed to do!
• Will not take any cows milk but drinks water from a sippy cup
• Still nurses 3.5 times a day
• Loves anything starchy - pancakes, bread, pizza, etc. but is now getting a little better at eating some fruits and veggies
• Usually only takes an afternoon nap that ranges from 1-3 hrs
• Weighs 19 pounds, 3 ounces (38%) and is 29 inches long (66%)
• Had 3 teeth on her birthday but got her other upper tooth a few days later
• Schedule: she usually goes to bed between 7-8pm and sleeps until 6-7am and takes an afternoon nap around 1pm (she still sometimes wakes up in the middle of the night...I blame it on teething!)
• Wears size 3 diapers, 6-12 month clothes and size 3 shoes
• Tries to climb into the bath when we start running the water - she likes to stand during the bath now!
