Halle was so excited to see Santa at the Mall. For some reason, she has never been scared of him. However since Halle and Blair are opposites so far, I knew Blair would not enjoy it as much. Halle climbed right up there and smiled for a picture and when we gave Blair to Santa she started crying immediately...it was kind of funny to see the two girls...one with a huge smile and the other crying!
Brandon was invited to a Christmas party at a coworkers house. We had gone last year too when Blair was just a month old so the host was really wanting to see both of the girls. She was so sweet with them and when we took a family picture her dog hopped right in! The girls loved it!
I missed out on the Annual Department of Orthopedic Christmas party last year so I was looking forward to going this year. Kevin and Maggie hosted a pre-party at their place for all of the fifth years. I can't believe that this is our last year of residency. We are going to miss everyone next year!

One of our friends, Heidi, put together a Christmas light scavenger hunt that we did while driving in the car. We switched Blair's car seat around so she ended up smiling most of the time. Halle loved finding everything and drew a line from the picture to the word of each item!
The Sviggums invited us and some friends to go caroling at a local nursing home - Samaritan Bethany. We did this a few years ago with them when Halle was only 1 so it was fun to see how much she enjoyed it. She would walk right to the front and start singing when we all did. And, afterwards she walked around and told all of the residents "Merry Christmas". I was so proud of her! Brandon was still working but met us for cookies afterwards!
