Brandon and Kristen: Blair

It's been since Blair turned a year old since I did a post on her and she has changed so much since then! She is a smiley, feisty, cuddly, funny and sweet little girl that we love so much!!

Blair at 15 months:

Likes to sit in my lap when I am sitting on the ground
Is cuddly sometimes and will either walk up and grab my leg or lean her head on me if I'm holding her
Has been pretty clingy the last week or so..I think she is getting her upper molars
She has 8 teeth..her 4 upper front teeth, 2 lower front teeth and 2 upper molars
She started standing on her own on Dec. 30th and took her first steps on Jan. 3rd
Stopped daytime nursing a little after 13 months, stopped morning nursing at 14 months and just stopped nighttime nursing last night!
Goes to bed around 7-7:30pm and will sleep until 5:45-7am, she usually naps once in the afternoon around 12:30-1pm for 1.5-3 hrs (usually 1.5 hrs..) but every once in awhile she will take a morning nap
Just started to want a little blankie as a lovey during nap time and bed time and will sleep with her sea horse during nap time - we sing her Twinkle Twinkle before bed and nap
Still uses a loud sound machine on the rain setting
Will sit in bed with me in the morning if she wakes up super early and eat cereal and watch shows on the ipad
Says Mama, Dad, Ya ya (Halle), Doggie, Sna (Snack), No, Uh oh, Nuh uh, Baa, Moo, Ah (for Monkey), Neigh, Ball, Duck, Pig, Wawa (Water), Bye, Hi, More, Cheese, Baby, This, Da U (Thank you), Wall, and more that I can't think of!
Blows kisses, is starting to sign for thank you, claps, knows where her nose, mouth and belly button are (loves to point to her belly button!)
Loves to copy whatever Halle is doing
Is so social - she gets fussy in the house but if we are out or somewhere else she is usually great (though she does want to get down and walk in the grocery store so we are working on staying in the car without fussying...it involves a lot of snacks!)
Does not like milk..will take a few sips here and there but will not drink it like she does with water...so it seems like she is always wanting to eat - is picky and likes a variety of things but right now is loving yogurt raisins, fruit, mixed veggies, mac and cheese, pb&J, pancakes/waffles, sometimes yogurt, oatmeal, chicken nuggets (likes them to be dipped in ranch like Halle) and most crackers
Still throws her food on the floor when she is done
We still call her baby Zilla...can destroy Halle's legos in 2 seconds, can wipe out a bookshelf quicker than it takes for you to pull her away from it, loves to play with nightlights, likes eating toilet paper, etc!
Loves to take baths and will go to the bathroom door whenever we mention it though she doesn't like having water poured on her head or washing her hair - she has even put her face in the water to try and blow bubbles!
Wears size 3 shoes (her feet are small!), size 3-4 diapers (just transitioned to 4 since we had some leftover from Halle!), size 6-12 month clothes (can fit into 12-18 month shirts but 12-18 month pants are too big)
Weighs 20 lbs. 2 oz. (34%) and is 31 in. (64%)
Her favorite book right now is The Wheels on the Bus
Still loves music and dancing
Understands a lot more than we think - if I ask her to bring me something she can
Still hasn't gone through stranger anxiety and will go to anyone - has never cried when dropped off at church nursery
Is starting to play with Halle every once in awhile and will pretend with play food
Likes to play downstairs and is now pretty good and going down the stairs
Always takes her bow out of her hair so I have to put it in a pony tail so that it's not in her eyes
Likes to climb on things and sit like a big girl in our chairs - she loves relaxing on the couch too!
Loves to play with clothes and will walk around with them in her arms - she also likes to walk around with her water bottle
Has recently started to stomp her feet around...we aren't sure if she is dancing or what but she always smiles while doing it!
