That night, we had some people over for dessert and games. Thanks Allison for the snow cone maker...it worked great! I didn't get a picture of Nick, Cassi and Adam but they were so sweet and made me a "Smores Kit" to make it easier to bring all of the supplies outside. It was so much fun to spend time with our good friends. We feel so blessed to have them in Rochester.

The girls except for Cassi - Me, Lesley and Erica
Yesterday, after Brandon surprised me at church (he got done early) and after we got the lawn cut, weed killer sprayed and cars washed, we decided to head up to the Cities. I had always heard about Minnehaha Falls which is right in the city, so we headed to the Falls but when we arrived, there was no water! We heard people say that this is the first time they have seen it dry, but I still pictured it in my mind and thought it was pretty! It was a gorgeous day up there so we sat in the park and people watched for awhile. Afterwards, we drove around trying to find somewhere to eat and we eventually decided on Old Chicago where we ate outside. Afterwards, I wanted homemade ice cream at Sebastian Joes and I guess the rest of the town did too because the line was very long. We, of course, waited and it was delicious! It was a wonderful day!

We had fun! Thanks for having us over. Sebastian Joe's sounds amazing..never been there..I might need to do that soon!
Homemade ice cream and Brandon did not have to turn the crank.
We had a fun time with you guys! And the snocones were delicious!
Who knew the waterfall could dry up?? For some reason, we do love the name Minnehaha though, we'll have to check out the falls, maybe when they come back? Will they?
