Happy 7 Months Halle! It seems like Halle has really changed a lot in the past month (and it happened within a couple of days!) All of a sudden, she started sitting up, looking at everything and wanting to put everything in her mouth. She is really exploring and is very inquisitive. She still remains very independent - she entertains herself very well (she taught herself how to play peek-a-boo boo) and prefers to fall asleep in her swing or crib without someone holding her. She is smiling a lot more and is just a very happy and content baby. We are so in love with her and can't get over how cute she is!At 7 Months Halle:
- Is sitting with her boppy behind her in case she falls
- Has found her feet and loves to put her toes in her mouth (see video below)
- Does a high pitch squeal now which is pretty loud
- Grunts and talks loudly
- Is reaching for everything and is definitely into exploring
- Loves Sophie the Giraffe but still likes her pink elephant too
- Does not like bouncer anymore - naps in her swing
- Still likes looking at the tv, our phones or anything that lights up!
- Is nursing every 2-3 hours but does not nurse as long now that she is eating solids 2-3 times a day
- Loves eating solids, has eaten: squash, sweet potatoes, carrots, peas, avocado, prunes, bananas, pears, apples - the only thing she doesn't really like is peas but I just mix other things with it
- Loves looking at our drinks in glasses but has not figured out her own sippy cup yet
- Judges a book based on how it tastes - is not all that interested yet in books except for teething on them
- Her favorite book right now is one she got for Christmas from Gigi - Pat the Bunny Sleep Bunny cloth book (it must taste good!)
- Smiles a lot and is a very happy baby - she rarely cries (except when I wipe her nose or face after she is done eating!)
- Wears size 2 diapers, 3-6 month clothes though I think pants are starting to get short, 6-9 month sleepers though she can still fit in some 3-6, in between size 1 & 2 shoes
- Doesn't like standing as much now that she knows how to s
- Is starting to really like her jumperoo - she likes standing more than jumping but I think the jumping will come
- Is still drooling a ton (she will soak through multiple bibs a day) but there is no sign of teeth yet - we think she is just a mouth breather!
- Gets frustrated with some of her "bigger" toys because she isn't able to pick them up and put them in her mouth
- Figured out how to play peek-a-boo with herself - she likes to cover herself up with her bib or blanket and then pull it down!
- Still sleeps on average 12 hours a night
- Is very flexible - if we go out somewhere and get home late, she will sleep later and then just adjust the next day by herself!
- Still sucks her thumb but I don't mind right now since it helps her sleep so well! (if she is still sucking it in a year, I may be saying something else!)
- Is very independent - she can entertain herself for awhile and likes to be by herself when falling asleep
- Just started realizing there are things above her head and loves to look at the lamps above
She loves when Daddy is home to play with her!

Happy 7 mos. old Halle! Do your toes taste good? You are such a cutie! We miss you so much! Enjoy your toys and books and tell mommy and daddy to video tape you some more! We love hearing you talk and play with your feet, and toys! :)

7 months already! She's adorable!
She's so cute! How fun that she has learned to sit! Before you know it, she'll be all over the place crawling! :)
Halle is bigger than her duck. Her progress is amazing. We enjoy hearing her speak in the video.
