Halle's Dedication to the Lord

This post is also extremely late but I guess I am going with the motto "better late than never"! Halle and Kenzie were both dedicated at Autumn Ridge Church on June 19th. It was so neat that the cousins could take part in this together. Pastor Andy lead the service and I thought Halle and Kenzie did great being in front of the whole church. Lagaytha made both of their dresses which were beautiful and it was so nice to have many wonderful friends present.

We were given a framed document of the vows that we took but I thought I would write them here since I often look back at my posts:

"Do you acknowledge with gratitude the goodness of God who has given you the gift of this daughter?
Do you recognize the serious and tender responsibility which comes to you with this gift and that it is your duty to teach and train Halle from her earliest years for the service of God?
Do you then earnestly and seriously resolve that guided by the Spirit of God and seeking the grace of Christ you will bring up Halle in the nurture and admonition of the Lord, and always regard this as your constant duty and sacred trust?
Will you seek so to order your home, your words and deeds that this your child shall at all times be compassed about by pure thoughts, holy living and Christ-like examples?"
