Happy Halloween!!

We had a lazy day and just stayed around the house tonight. Brandon was post-call so he slept some this afternoon and wasn't sure if he was up for taking Halle out. But, he was a trooper and after dinner, decided that we should all go. Before heading out, Erica stopped by with cow girl Annabelle who looked so cute! Halle even called her "A, B" for the first time which was exciting. We made the girls pose for some pictures and they were good sports. I couldn't get over how cute they looked in their costumes. Halle was dressed as a strawberry so that she could be "Halle Berry"! (Dada came up with that clever idea last year!)

I didn't think that Halle would really get the whole trick or treating thing, but I was surprised when she immediately walked right up, grabbed candy and put it in her bag! (I had bought a little plastic pumpkin for her to put candy in but I think I left it in the cart...this leaving things at stores is becoming a trend that I don't like!). It was kind of chilly but Halle did so well that we hit up more houses in the neighborhood than I thought we would. She especially LOVED seeing dogs that were out for walks!

I asked Brandon what she should be next year and he said "Cat Woman"! So, if anyone sees any cat costumes on sale, please let me know...ha!

Her Halloween shirt - "I want candy!"I had to put a hat on to show her that it was "cool" to wear a hat - she finally put hers on but it lasted only a minute or so...Dad, can you please take this hat off of me?
