Isaac, Lagaytha and AdamHappy Thanksgiving to everyone! We are glad to have the Yuan's here to celebrate with us and are thinking about those back in Oregon. It was a beautiful day here in Rochester. Joy and I went on a run this morning while Brandon, Lagaytha and Isaac went on a walk. We then came back and started on the feast. Brandon did an excellent job suturing up the turkey. It looked like a masterpiece when he was done with it. Needless to say, he is getting much better at suturing! We got the turkey in the oven all stuffed and sutured by noon and had the next couple of hours to make the side dishes. We even had an hour to relax before the turkey was done! We ate at about 4pm and our first turkey turned out to be really good. Nick, Cassi and Adam came over to eat with us and we all filled up out tummies! We played a couple of rounds of "Scene It" after dinner and the girls beat the boys. Overall, it was a wonderful thanksgiving and we are so thankful for our family and friends.

Much to be thankful for. Thanksgiving at the Purdy's was wonderful. Dwight and Barb had beautiful Christmas decorations and Thanksgiving table settings. Grandpa Purdy got the turkey plate, Obaa had the pheasant and Ojii, quail. Some were not disclosed. Nineteen of us had a feast and lively conversations.
