On Saturday, we drove up to Minneapolis with Brandon's family (Isaac, Lagaytha and Joy) to go to the Mall of America. We got to the mall around 12:45 pm and it was super busy. After waiting in long lines to get something to eat for lunch we conquered the crowds and started shopping! The stores weren't all that crowded which was nice and it was fun to shop with Joy and Brandon's parents. For dinner, we ate at the Rainforest Cafe and celebrated Joy's birthday early since we will not be there on Dec. 7th. We ordered a volcano (a dessert) and the waiters sang her a birthday song. After wearing oursleves out at the mall, we went back to the hotel that the Yuan's had booked, the Grand Lodge. It is a new hotel right near the mall that has the "Water Park of America" inside of the hotel. It is a nice hotel and my brother would love it. Brandon and Isaac went down some of the slides and they also tried body surfing on a man-made wave. It was pretty neat to see.
This morning we drove the Yuan's to the airport and said goodbye. It is always tough to have family leave, but we will be coming home in a couple of weeks which is exciting. Brandon and I went back to the hotel and he got me to go on some of the slides and he also tried wake surfing again. We got back to Rochester around 12:15 and are getting things done around the house. Overall, it was an excellent weekend with the Yuan's. I am so thankful for having such great in-laws!

Kristen, the feeling of the in-laws is mutual.
That little raft looks quite small for a 10-story ride.
We are so glad that you had an enjoyable time and that the weather was nice.
That looks like so much fun!
I have enjoyed the "Thanksgiving" pictures so much!! All of you look great, and it looks like you were all having a wonderful time! We missed you...but we were happy that Isaac, Lagaytha, and Joy were able to be with you! Glad that the weather was
