We woke up today to about 5 inches of snow on the ground. Considering we didn't know it was supposed to snow, we were pretty surprised. The roads still hadn't been plowed on our way to church and it was still snowing. It snowed until 1 pm today. In the afternoon, we went to Nick and Cassi's to try to make a snowman. Since the weather is so dry here, the snow is pretty fluffy and it doesn't stick together well enough to make snowmen. Instead, Cassi made a snowman on the ground and thought to use a cookie sheet for sledding...which turned out to be a lot of fun! Here are some pictures of our fun snow day. It was warm and sunny which made it nice to be outside! (Since, I did two posts today, make sure to check out the one below this too!)
