Pictures

I haven't posted for a whole week since I have been busy with work and am still trying to workout every night. But, here are some pictures that I took last Sunday at Katy's birthday party. Autumn and Jen got an awesome cake from a place up in the Cities and we all marveled at how pretty it was! It was also super rich and yummy! We had a great time talking and then we watched Girls Just Want To Have Fun which brought back memories of elementary school. We used to watch this movie for my best friend back home, Karissa's, birthday every year. If you are a girl and have not seen this movie, you should definitely rent it. It is definitely an 80's movie!

Last night, we went to dinner at the Olive Garden with Steve and Katy and Nick, Cassi and Adam. It was nice to eat out and afterwards, we went to Nick and Cassi's to play games. We played Imaginiff which Katy got for her birthday. It was a fun game to play even though I came in last place by far...I paid way more attention to Adam than the game! Cassi made yummy cookies with her new Kitchen Aid and we ended up staying at their house until 12:30am so it was a bit of a struggle to make it to the gym this morning for my class at 9:15. However, Brandon came with me which made it a lot easier. He has been doing a great job of going to the gym since he joined last week. He has been getting buff for orthopedics!

I am helping my sister make some of her wedding inserts today and am planning her bachelorette party while Brandon is studying for his big pediatrics test that he has on Thursday. They have final "shelf" tests at the end of their rotations and they are usually on Friday's but since we leave for San Francisco Thursday night, he arranged to take it early. We are going to San Fran for Brandon to present one of his research projects at the big Orthopedic meeting there. It is the biggest Orthopedic meeting in the nation so it will also be a good networking opportunity for him. I am very excited since both of our families are meeting us there. We will be there from Thursday night until Sunday...pretty short but it will be so nice to be in warmer weather and to see family.

Tonight, we are going to see Vantage Point with Nick and Cassi and Steve and Katy, and are then getting frozen custard (per the girls instructions!). Have a great weekend!

That is some cake. We hope that your trip to San Francisco is fantastic. Adam is becoming quite the big boy. Brandon, we saw the Mayo video. We thought that you looked handsome and professional. (Obaa and Ojii)
