We made it!

We finished the March of Dimes walk this morning...this 6 mile walk normally wouldn't have been a challenge to finish, however, given that it was 18 degrees outside with the wind chill, it was very cold. We started out with 11 people on our team including 2 little ones, but by the second mile, they had had enough... So, Deola took Bisola home and a little bit later Nick took Adam home since he just kept saying "Daddy...Jacket!"....poor little ones. Krista and Jen also went home since they were freezing as well. So, that left Beth, Cassi, Katy, Allison and I to finish the whole 6 miles in the cold weather. Cassi did great job considering she is 36 weeks pregnant...she finished the whole thing!

Afterwards, we went over to Nick and Cassi's where Cassi had muffins, fruit kabobs, adorable lady bug cupcakes and monkey bread waiting for us. She had also made a thank you sign to "Team Orme" and had bags for each of us with a personalized note pad and a clipboard inside. She is so creative. Even though it was so cold, it was great to walk for such a wonderful cause. Thank you for all of your thoughts and donations. We are going to spend the rest of the day getting warm and relaxing!

What an amazing event and what amazing friends you all are to Nick and Cassi! How fun! I am proud of you for finishing your walk. I, most likely, would not have even made it out the front door.
