I have so many pictures to post from the past couple of weekends since I haven't posted in awhile, but I thought I would start with the pictures from Hans (a Mayo med student who graduated last year) and Rachel's wedding this past Saturday. Both Wendi, John and their little baby, Isaac, and Tara came from out of town for the wedding. Dave and Lesley had a brunch at their house on Saturday morning so that we could see everyone. We didn't stay long though since Rachel had asked me to make the groom's cake for the wedding and I had some decorating to do that day. She had seen the pictures of the other cakes I had made on my blog and asked me to make one so that she could surprise Hans with it. It is the first cake that I have made completely from scratch which was fun. The wedding was at 4pm and it was a beautiful day for a wedding. The reception was at a golf course in Stewartville and the setting was gorgeous. Rachel did such a good job with all of the details. I especially like how they had individual cupcakes that were passed out by the bridal party including the bride and the groom! Here are just a few of the pictures I took of the wedding:

Last night, we went to Dr. L's house (the Anatomy professor Brandon assisted for) for a bbq. She is so sweet and invited all of us over. We always have a great time with her and the weather was perfect for eating outside. Oh, how I wish we had a patio with a bbq!
We celebrated Nick's birthday on Friday and I will post those pictures sometime this week. We had a busy weekend, but it was so much fun to spend time with so many friends. We have truly been blessed with such wonderful friendships!

Kristen - That cake was awesome! After I cut it during the dance, it took about 10 minutes until it was all gone. I barely got a piece! Thanks so much.
