Christmas Eve

Brandon was on call on Christmas Eve so it was wonderful to have his parents in town to keep us company. They arrived the night before and spent the whole day catering to Halle and I. Halled loved being with them and immediately called them Papa and Mema! We wanted to take dinner to Brandon but he ended up being too busy so we thought we would still just grab Panera and take it back to the house. Little did we know that most of the restaurants were closed. So, China Star it was for Christmas Eve dinner. It was kind of fun to relax and eat out on Christmas Eve and we weren't the only ones doing the same thing. Chinese food on Christmas Eve may be a new tradition in our house...ha!

When we got back from dinner, Nick, Joy, Kenzie and Brynlee had arrived. I got to meet Brynlee right away while they all got settled. We then let the Halle and Kenzie open one gift before going to bed. They opened the same toy - Leap Frog phones. Halle was really excited about it as you can tell from the pictures below! She was also really happy to have her cousins to play with. She called Kenzie "Ke" and Brynlee was "Baby". In fact, she was so excited to have company, that she didn't want to go to bed!
