Last Weekend as a 2nd Year!

Since Brandon starts his first rotation of his third year on Monday, we thought we better take advantage of his last weekend as a second year medical student. His schedule will definitely be changing this year as he will be doing different rotations and will have to be on call during some of them. This will take some adjusting for both of us, but probably for me more than him, since I will be at home by myself at nights... I will just have to start blogging some more to keep busy!
We went to a local baseball game with some other medical students this past Thursday. The Rochester Honkers did not play so well but it was still fun to be out with everyone. Afterwards, we all went to Cold Stone and got yummy ice cream!

This past Wednesday, some of the girls got together at Cold Stone (yes, I had ice cream 2 days in a row but it was sorbet!). Cassi left on Friday to go to Scottsdale on a rotation with Nick for 6 weeks, so we all wanted to get together before she left. It was fun to catch up with the girls.

Yesterday, we went to a BBQ at one of Brandon's classmates, Matt, house. It was a beautiful night out and it was fun to see some of his classmates that I don't see very often. There were a ton of fireflies in his backyard and it was fun to see all of them when it got dark. Brandon has one on his hand in the picture down below.

Today after church, I got to babysit Bella and Jacob while Krista and Albert went to a class at their church. They are such good kids and were so easy to babysit. After eating lunch, Jacob went down for a nap for the whole time I was there while Bella and I watched movies and played. It was fun to play with her!
