Yesterday, we went to Apple Ridge Orchard, for the 3rd year in a row with Nick and Cassi and Steve and Katy along with Steve's mom and sister. It was such a nice day out...I think the temperature said it was in the 50's but it felt a lot warmer with the sun shining. We took the wagon ride out to the fields to pick apples and to pick out a pumpkin. There are also a couple of corn mazes to go through. It was so nice to be outside and we had such a good time with everyone. I had Adam lead me through the maze and he found his way out faster than I could have. He has such a cute little personality and had a lot of fun roaming around and falling on the uneven ground! We found a good shaped pumpkin and got some Haralson apples to make caramel apples with. We also had a fun time taking pictures!

We borrowed Adam for this picture since he was having fun sticking his head through the holes anyways!

He is so cute!

Last night we went to a Halloween party, that one of the girls that I play bunko with threw. She did such a good job decorating and making scary Halloween treats and it was fun to see everyone's costumes. Brandon and I never know what to wear for costumes as he doesn't like to dress up and I don't like to spend money on costumes. After looking on the internet for ideas for over an hour, we finally decided to go as Mexican Dominoes...no, we are not dice! It was a pretty corny idea but better than what Brandon wanted to go as...putting pots on our heads and going as "pot heads"! He is always trying to find the easy way out with costumes...last year he put an "E" on his shirt and went as an "E-male"! I think Cassi wins the award for the most creative costume...she dressed up as a traveling dice and couldn't even eat or do anything since her arms would not reach to her mouth...what a good sport! Little Carter was so cute dressed up as a duck and Adam was a cute little pirate! I also thought that Jeremy, one of the second year medical students who went to Oregon State, had a good costume dressed up as a horse!

What a great get-together. The apples and pumpkins are impressive. The tour guide through the maze looks confident as well as cute. The cake and other desserts must have been worth the time.
