Birthdays and Some Pictures

On Jan. 17th, while Brandon was gone in sunny San Diego for his last interview, I went out to lunch at Chesters with some friends. It had been a long time since we all got together and it was so much fun to catch up with everyone. It was especially interesting to hear everyone talk about the interview process and where they think they will end up since this has been on our minds a lot...That night, I had dinner with my bible study group as a late Christmas get together. It was fun to hangout with everyone and some of their spouses too!

On Friday, we had David over for dinner since Lesley is in California for the week. David is a second year resident in Orthopedics here and it was a good chance for Brandon to pick his brain on all of the questions he has about residency programs. David and Lesley have been so helpful throughout this whole process and we are very thankful for them.

It was also Brandon's grandpa's birthday on Friday so, Happy Belated Birthday Ojii!

Last night, we went and saw "Slumdog Millionaire" with David and Christopher and Erica. We had heard so many people talk about the movie so we thought we should go see it. We both thought it was a good movie and worth seeing.

Today, we went over to Christopher and Erica's place for lunch to help celebrate Christopher's birthday. Happy Birthday Christopher! Erica is such a good host and cook...she made two delicious soups, corn bread, banana pudding and cake! This is the first time that I have had banana pudding which really suprised Erica! It was really good. Brandon brought over his new video game and we all had a fun time playing that on the Wii.
