2 Months Old!!

At two months Halle...

• Eats every 1 - 2 hours during the day
  
• Is now sleeping for one long stretch (4-5 hours) followed by a 3 hour stretch pretty consistently...yay!
  
• Goes down at night right away
  
• Continues to be very strong - she lifts her head very well and also pushes up with her legs
  
• Is a lot more alert and likes her bouncer - she will stay awake for a bit and then go to sleep
  
• Continues to love having her hands on her face
  
• As of last week, she weighed 8 pounds, 1 ounce...she is continuing to do very well and is obviously, a good eater!
  
• Had a rough few days where she didn't like her car seat but now that we put covers over the straps, she seems much happier
• Had a couple of nights where she choked on her saliva and now seems to have some reflux even though she doesn't spit up often
  
• Grunts a ton, even in her sleep and is "talking" a lot more - she sometimes even squeals which I think is cute!
• Smacks her lips after she is done eating!
  
• Is a very good baby and only really cries when she is hungry
• Still likes warm baths and is getting better about getting out...
  
• Likes sleeping together with Daddy when he gets home
  
• Wears newborn diapers and clothing although she has outgrown a couple of newborn sleepers
  
• Doesn't really take a pacifier and instead likes to suck on her hands!
• Likes to stretch out and move on her changing table (see the video below)
  

Things we love about this stage:

• She is SO cuddly and loves being in our arms, especially with her head on our chests
• She is such a good baby - she sleeps well during the day and night and doesn't really cry unless she is hungry
• It is fun to see her look around more at her surroundings

We can't get over how cute Halle is and we love her more than we ever though we would. She is truly a blessing!
