Despite the freezing cold weather yesterday, we ventured out to go to Jacob's (Krista & Albert's son)1st birthday party. They invited a few couples over to their house for lunch and to celebrate with them which was so sweet. We were the only ones there without kids of our own which is kind of fun because we get to play with all of the kids, but when they cry we just hand them off to their parents!! :) But, none of them cried...they are all such good kids! Down below are some pictures. I especially love the before and after pictures of Jacob with his cake! I think most of it ended up on the ground or the highchair but I think he did enjoy it! We had a great time celebrating his first birthday party.
We also tried a new experiment that we had heard works and we wanted to test it out...we boiled water and tossed it in the air outside and it turned into snow! If you don't believe me, look at the picture down below or click on "Tunde & Deola's Blog" to see a video of it. We also blew bubbles outside to see if they would freeze and they did. There is a picture of a broken bubble in Brandon's hand down below. Who says you can't have a good time when it is freezing cold?
