This past Friday, after eating with Nick, Cassi and Adam at a newer cafe in town (Camilles), we stopped by the Rochesterfest parade that was taking place right next to our apartment. This parade is a big ordeal for Rochester... a lot of people watch the parade. It turns out that it is really just an opportunity for businesses to advertise as they pass out candy/promotional products to everyone along with flyers and brochures, but it was still kind of fun to see the non-business floats. We liked seeing the 1860's baseball float with the players dressed up in the old uniforms. They actually play baseball like that! Next year, Brandon and I are going to volunteer to dress up as the fish down below or Brandon also suggested sitting on top of the big Hoveround!!
On Saturday afternoon, we went with Nick, Cassi and Adam to watch a water ski show that was part of Rochesterfest. It was a nice day to be outside, but we were grossed out that the skiers actually had to get into the dirty Silver Lake. The show was very similar to the one we saw last year, so we actually ended up leaving at halftime.
After the water ski show, we went to a barbeque for our bible study group. It was at one of the leader's house, Jock. It was the perfect night for a barbeque and they had a really nice porch and backyard for us to enjoy.

Oregon St. won the College World Series? Are you two Beaver fans or Duck fans? You can't be both!
