Thanksgiving Weekend

We had a great Thanksgiving dinner at Nick's place with his parents, Brandon's family, Lesley and David, a friend of Lesley's and a friend of Nick's. There was a lot of yummy food and after we all ate way too much, we had fun playing Times Up and Apples to Apples. I didn't do so hot at the first game but I won right away at Apples to Apples. It was a great night spending time with family and friends.

On Friday, Brandon was able to spend the morning with his family before going to his last shift in the ER from 3pm-12am. They met me for lunch which was nice. After I was done working, Brandon's parents picked me up and we went to see Cassi, Nick and Adam. Lagaytha has been sending Adam the cutest books so they wanted to see her. It was fun to spend time with them as each time I see Adam, he is getting smarter! He is so much fun! That night, Nick S. mom made dinner for us which was really sweet, so we went back to his house that night. Brandon was working so he didn't get to come over but it was fun to spend more time getting to know them and it was fun to see Joy open up an early birthday present.

On Saturday, we all went out to breakfast at Pannekoeken and then that afternoon all of us besides Nick and his dad, who saw the James Bond movie, went and saw Bolt in 3D. We all wore the 3D glasses and the movie was actually really cute. After resting for a bit after the movie, we ate dinner at Chesters before watching the Civil War at Nick's place. I had wore orange all day and tried real hard to cheer for the Beavers since I wanted them to go to the Rose Bowl but I noticed that I kept on automatically cheering for the Ducks... We were all sad that the Beavers lost but hopefully, USC loses to UCLA next week.

After the game, we went up to the Cities and stayed at Joy's place so that we could take Brandon's parents to the airport early the next morning. After we went to the airport in the morning, Joy, Brandon and I went to the French Meadow Bakery for breakfast. I had always wanted to eat there so I was glad that we got to. Joy and I split fruit and nut pancakes which were good. We then slept a little before going to Bethlehem Baptist Church to see John Piper's sermon. Nick drove up in the morning and met us at church. We all then headed to the Mall to do some Christmas shopping. Brandon and I stayed up there a little longer and then went to Red Robin for dinner. It was fun to spend some time together!

Your Thanksgiving feast looked awesome! Rudy and Nick really look like twins (or brothers, whatever).
