Pictures from Oregon

I just realized that I haven't posted our pictures from when we were in Oregon. Even though it rained every day, it was so nice to be back...it was nice to not have to wear a coat too! We are so blessed with wonderful family and friends and it was great to be able to spend time with them. We were home for 15 days and it was still hard to leave! Here are some pictures of our family and friends.

The day after we got home, we celebrated the life of my grandpa who passed away in Nov. Although I was pretty emotional, it was so nice to have all of our family in town. The "celebration of life" was very touching and it was so neat to see how many peoples lives he touched. My brother and dad created an awesome video of his life and it was neat hearing stories from many different people. He was an amazing man!

We had so much fun spending time with family and playing games. We played Guesstures one night since it all reminded us of my grandpa!
Me, my grandma, Peggy (aunt), my mom, Jen (cousin) and Lagaytha
Isaac, Bruce (uncle), Brandon, Kevin (cousin), Kyle and my dad

We were also able to spend time with some of Brandon's relatives as well:Joy, Lagaytha and BrandonNorma & Bob (Brandon's aunt & uncle), Isaac, Brandon, Lagaytha, Joyce, Norm and Joy

We opened up our stockings at Brandon's house Christmas Eve and then my family came over for games and dessert. Lagaytha and Isaac got a cake for my sister and her fiance since this was the first time that we had seen them since they got engaged. We played a great new game called Imaginiff.

Since Brandon's sister, Joy, lives up in Portland, she always knows the best restaurants to take is to. We spent one night up there and went to a fondue restaurant. We had never been to one before and it was a lot of fun. Each person got their own timer and cooked their raw meat/veggies in their choice of broth. After an excellent dinner, Joy took us to another restaurant for dessert. There were so many desserts to choose and they all looked so yummy!

All of us at Urban FondueOur yummy desserts!
We were also able to see some of our friends while being home:My best friend growing up, KarissaOur friends from high school and college - Dan and Bryn (they are siblings which makes it fun to see them both!)

Grandpa Purdy was quite a man. We count it a privilege to have known him. The Christmas time was special. Thank you for spending some time with us. Joy seems to know lots of neat places.

Very cute pictures! It's great that you got to go home for the holidays! Oh, and your hair grows extremely fast doesn't it? Last time I saw you (before New Years) at Bunko it was short and just cut right?
